LOTUS CHOFFEL

Lotus Choffel is a London-based Set and Costume Designer whose work spans the worlds of Fine Art and Theatre. With roots in Fine Art and Installation, Lotus has transitioned into Theatre and the Performing Arts, bringing a unique, conceptual approach to every project.

Influenced by the principles of Japanese minimalism, Lotus’s designs are known for their radical symbolism and striking simplicity. Her work distills complex ideas into powerful visual statements, creating an emotional impact that lingers with the audience.

Alongside her work in theatre, Lotus is steadily forging a path in production design and artistic direction for film, expanding her creative vision into new mediums. She also creates bespoke costume pieces for individual artists, particularly musicians, and collaborates with several bands across London to craft their entire visual universe — from costume and set design to video art.
